# Requirements for Internet Connection

Whether you must be online to use ENERCALC SEL and when an Internet connection is actually required.

## Do you have to be online while using the program?

**You do not need to be connected to the Internet to use the software**\*\*.\*\*

The only time an Internet connection is required is:

* When "Activating" the software on a computer.
* When you wish to check for and receive updates.
* When you wish to send a Technical Support Email
