# SentinelOne - known conflict

How to resolve ENERCALC SEL launch and activation failures caused by SentinelOne by adding the right exclusion.

## Why does ENERCALC refuse to launch?

We have heard of several instances where SentinelOne prevented proper launch and activation of ENERCALC SEL. For a resolution, one user mentioned, "In the exclusion when adding it had to be a certain mode to allow all dependants."
