# Shell Forces & Moments

How to view in-plane forces, out-of-plane moments, and shears for shells per load combination.

Analysis Results > Shell Forces, Moments & Stresses > Shell Forces & Moments displays the following dialog.

It allows you to view shell forces and moments for each load combination. The shell forces and moments include in-plane normal forces Fxx, Fyy and shear force Fxy; out-of-plane bending moments Mxx, Myy, Mxy; and out-of-plane shear forces Vxx, Vyy. You may specify the force and moment locations to be at the nodes and/or the center of each shell by running Settings & Tools > Data Options. You have the option to view the forces and moments for the selected shells only.
